So me & Stacy have identified the problem, but solving it is being delayed by various things – This site was built very quickly a couple of years ago through a collaborative process between several relatively inexperienced parties, so needless to say, glitches are nothing new here. (You’ll notice, for instance, that Episode 12 is not filed in the correct order. That was because it spontaneously disappeared one day and had to be re-uploaded in between later episodes. We still don’t know why.)
I’d love to be able to upload an image or two just as a preview, but unfortunately I can’t, and that very limitation is all that stands in my way here – as I’ve said before, this one was finished a while ago already. In the meantime, I’ll say a bit more about the process, just to satisfy anyone’s curiosity: It’s about the same length as the last one, which was part accident and part intention, but given that I had much more time to determine what goes into it and what stays out, I think it’s a bit more smoothly executed. If you start to feel as you’re reading it like there’s even more subliminal shit hidden in it than usual for an episode of this comic, you’re probably exactly right. I trust that if you’re reading this, you’re sharp enough to have picked up on the fact that Rosa’s (intermittent) resemblance to a real person (whether you know said person or not) isn’t a coincidence, but I’d like to point out in advance that the specificity of Unjar’s poetic descriptions of her features and the erratic, often bizarre appearance of the woman herself in previous episodes are not unrelated – the more interesting a person is to look at, the harder they are to draw…..
I can’t think of anything else right now….
